Tangy Tomato Sauce

Millet Spaghetti - Red Sauce

Ingredients–

  • ¾ th Cup – Millet spaghetti, boiled till al dente’ and cooled
  • 01 Cup – Tomato puree
  • 02 Tbsp – Tomato Ketchup
  • 4-5 cloves – Garlic – peeled and chopped
  • 8-10 – Fresh Basil Leaves or ½ tsp dried basil leaves
  • 2tsp – Olive oil
  • Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and salt to taste.

 

Method –

  1. Take a nonstick pan, heat and add 01 tsp of olive oil. Add chopped garlic and stir for a few seconds.
  2. Add the tomato puree to the pan. Let it cook for a while until it exudes oil and there is no runny liquid. Add the tomato ketchup, mix well.
  3. Add basil, check salt to taste.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti and stir briefly.

Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese for a delicious, and wholesome meal.
